RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board increased the number of vacancies for recruitment to the post of Assistant Loco Pilo (ALP). Earlier, a total of 5696 vacancies were notified by the board. Now, the vacancies has been increased to 18799. The break-up of vacancies shall be notified in due course of time.
The official notice reads, “Railway Recruitment Board has published CEN 01/2024 for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilo (ALP) with 5696 vacancies all over the Indian Railways. A review has been undertaken in view of additional demand received from Zonal Railways and vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) stands enhanced to 18799.” Necessary notice indicating RRB wise community wise breakup of vacancies shall be displayed on the website subsequently. Opportunities will also be given to existing candidates to revise their choice of RRB once details are published. Candidates should keep visiting the website for further notices in this regard.”
RRB ALP Recruitment will be completed in a week
The Railway Board has ordered the General Managers of all the Zonal Railways to complete this recruitment within a week. By doing this, the work pressure on the drivers doing overtime duty in the Railways will be reduced. Along with this, the train accidents which occur due to human error will also be reduced.
